Silver Polish

A fabulous liquid polishing cream with a unique built in anti-tarnish formulation. Perfect for removing heavy tarnish in double quick time.

Simply pour a little onto a soft cloth (an old fashioned duster is ideal) and gently rub the silver to remove the tarnish. Buff to finish with a clean piece of the cloth.

If it's heavily tarnished, rinse with cold water, dry and polish again until all the tarnish is removed.

NOTE: This is ideal for smooth, flat pieces of silver. If you want to clean a chain, or a piece with holes that the polishing cream will get stuck in, we recommend using a polishing cloth, or as a last resort a silver dip. Dips chemically strip the tarnish and are not gentle on your silver, so should only be used rarely and when no other option is possible. To avoid the need for dips, store your jewellery with some of our anti-tarnish strips.

All of our jewellery is sterling silver. Nothing is plated. Nothing contains nickel.

To guarantee the quality of our silver, we send every piece over 8g to the London Assay office, where it is tested to ensure it meets the legal standards for sterling silver, before being given a full UK Hallmark. This includes the 2 marks for sterling silver, a date mark, the mark for the London assay office, and our unique maker's mark.

It is laser etched in a discreet place on each piece, so it may not be easy to find at first glance. If you need any help locating it, give us a shout and we'll be happy to help.

Please note, pieces under 8g are not hallmarked, but are made using the same silver tested on the larger pieces. These we random spot test to ensure their quality is in line with the heavier pieces.

• UK delivery is free. We use Royal Mail so it is tracked and insured. We guarantee that all UK orders will be delivered in 2 working days or less.
  
• If it is really urgent, we also offer a £5 UK Next day delivery service. Order by 4pm Monday to Friday and it will be with you the following day.
  
• Overseas delivery is £7.50 & will be with you in 5-10 working days.
  
• If you're outside the UK, and want it faster, we offer a £35 service and will book UPS, FedEx or DHL depending on your address. That should take 3 working days to almost anywhere in the world. Please do bear in mind time zones, which may add another day to this delivery time.
  
• All duties on non-UK orders should be included in our prices, so if you get hit again on arrival, send us a receipt and we'll refund you the costs.
