If you're a fan of traditional design, then this is the one for you. The design originates from the Byzantine Empire (the Roman Empire at the time it was centred around Constantinople) and is sometimes called the fool's dilemma or the king's braid. Handmade for us in Thailand it is available in 2 sizes. The shorter bracelet is a slimmer link (5mm diameter) to allow it to bend around the smaller circumference. The longer one (pictured on our model) is just under 1cm thick and weighs in at a mighty 68g and cost £75 more to cover the additional weight of silver. Oxidised to highlight the intricacy of the workmanship and finished with a traditional hook fastening, it is a striking piece of jewellery.
