How to keep your Sylviana hanging perfectly
Your complete guide to wearing and caring for layered liquid silver

The Sylviana is crafted from 10 strands of liquid silver, each a slightly different length. When arranged correctly inside the end cones, they fall in a smooth “waterfall” and stay that way indefinitely — as long as you don't allow the strands to become crossed.
Why the Sylviana Can Tangle
Tangling occurs when:
- A strand slips to the wrong side of the end cone
- The clasp passes between strands when open
Once a strands are crossed and in the incorrect order, the twist gradually works its way downwards until the waterfall becomes uneven. Until you get the strands back in order it will twist every time you wear it.
How to Prevent Tangling
- Always close the clasp before storing the necklace.
- Lay it flat or hang gently to avoid twisting.
- Keep the strands straight when putting it on or taking it off.
How to Untangle Your Sylviana Necklace
If the strands do cross, don’t worry — it’s easy to fix.
- Lay the necklace flat with both ends far apart so the shortest strand is straight.
- Look closely at one of the end cones and identify any crossed strands.
- Move each crossed strand over or under the strand above it to restore the correct order.
- Repeat on the opposite end if needed.
- Once the strands sit shortest-to-longest, the waterfall shape returns.
