Baltic amber is millions of years old. Washed up on the shores of the Baltic Sea (did you know amber is so light it floats in sea water?), colours range from pale honey to dark Cognac and, very occasionally, deep mossy green. This forest green amber is natural, and caused by the high levels of plant debris trapped within the pale honey amber. It is not the same as the more common sparkly green amber which is artificially altered to create the colour!
Each pair is handmade around the unique shape of the amber and they vary from almost round to long lozenge shaped. The amber is set in sterling silver and finished with sterling silver toggles so every pair is Hallmarked by the Assay Office. Colours vary from pale sparkling leaf green to deep moss green with brown highlights. Not for the faint hearted, each pair is big, bold and completely unique. Guaranteed to be a real talking point. If you have a preference for the shape or shade you would like, please let us know and we'll do what we can.
