Diadem Hilltribe Silver Bracelet

Matching necklace available. Buy them together and save 10%.  The Karen Hilltribe people live in the hills of Northern Thailand. For centuries they have worked with local materials to make beautiful and unique handicrafts. Among these crafts is silver smithing.
Because they do not have the modern smelting equipment needed to make standard sterling silver, hilltribe silver is purer (at 99% silver rather than the 92.5% of sterling). This makes it soft and maleable allowing them to make their lovely botanically inspired beads.
For this bracelet we use silver tubes to create little cages which are then linked together by clusters of delicate silver flowers. These cages are so firm that this bracelet almost feels like a bangle.
