Flora Hilltribe Silver Necklace and Bracelet Set
NEW. This beautiful bracelet and necklace are made for us by the Karen Hilltribe people of Northern Thailand. Designed not as a matching set but as a lovely combination.  The Karen Hilltribe people live in the hills of Northern Thailand. They still work their silver in the traditional way, without modern smelting equipment or machine tools. As a result, their silver is purer (at 99%) than sterling silver (92.5%) and softer with a unique satiny shine.
Each one of these lovely pieces is handmade for us, with different members of the community contributing different beads to the project
The attention to detail on these pieces is amazing. Every time you look you see something new. Even the clasps are works of art. The necklace is finished with a hand-hammered T-bar and the bracelet has a cute little flower to finish off the simple hook and eye clasp.
