One of the most surprising thing we have discovered in the years we've been running Corazon Latino is that women have a huge variety of wrist sizes, and they seem to bear no relationship to height or weight so they are very hard to predict. The problem is, most jewellers only make bracelets for "average" women (whoever they may be). Speaking as a very un-average woman (my wrists are a puny 14cm circumference), average sized jewellery just doesn't work for me. Most standard bracelets either end up half way down my hand or slip off completely. Worst case we "puny wristers" can always take a set of pliers to our bracelets and create a shorter version, not so those poor girls who have larger than average wrists. They are stuck with bracelets that are uncomfortable, or just end up giving up altogether.

The great thing about running your own business and working direct with the artisans is you can ignore all the rules, and get your jewellery made to any size you like. So over the past few years we've been building up a collection of very un-average sized silver bracelets for our very un-average customers. Here are some of our favourites.

Diana - This lovely liquid silver bracelet, decorated with tiny silver beads is available in our standard size but also in a petite size perfect for smaller wrists.

Helene & Himalia - Our elasticated, beaded cuffs are perfect for smaller wrists. Available in eaither 3 or 5 row designs all you need to do is choose how wide you want them.

Belisama - This gorgeous jewelled bracelet is lovely on dainty wrists. Large, cushion cut gemstones are set in silver and strung along a fine silver chain. The delicate chain doesn't swamp smaller wrists and the gemstones are large enough to make a real statement.

Juliet - A handmade silver daisy chain bracelet is avaiable in 2 lengths including one for smaller wrists.

Like liquid silver but can't fit into the standard sizes? No problem, our popular Sylvia 30 strand bracelet is now available in a new longer length which will fit wrists up to 22cm

Our Luna bracelet comes with 6 sets of Russian wedding rings a standard, but we do have a longer 7 ring length which works brilliantly up to 21.5cm

Not only do we have some special bespoke sizes, we also have a selection of super versatile designs which can be closed at any point, or have been made with a long adjustable chain making them suitable for wrists of any size.

Designed for us by Britsh designer Kirsten Hendrick, both her Eroded & Swelter designs work on almost any size wrist.

Our droplet covered Maeve bracelet & the unusual heart and rise covered Etain both have a handmade chain which can be clsed at any point from 13-20cm.
