Following on from our immensely popular sterling silver bola, we are delighted to announce the launch of 6 new chiming silver pendants, taking the range to 7.

For those who want something simple, or would like to engrave their babies name and date of birth on it after the big day, we have the simple Aurora. A heavyweight, 18mm sterling silver ball with a lovely soft chime (Turn up your sound and listen to it here).

If you're looking for something more unusual, we have the ultra contemporary Adina, an 18mm silver ball in a hammered finish, wrapped in a polished silver filigree outer layer. The contrasting textures catch the light and give it a two-tone appearance.

Another contemporary design, but with a more feminine twist is the Akina. Its 22mm silver cage is covered in daisies and has a removable chiming brass ball inside.

If you prefer something smaller and more delicate, how about the beautiful little Allegra. At 17mm, it is still big enough to be noticeable, but more subtle than the larger designs in the range. Its silver filigree cage is openable, and houses a brass ball in which the chime sits. With the ball inside its cage you have a lovely gold and silver effect, remove the ball and you have a completely different look, pop a crystal or semi precious stone inside and create your own unique pendant.

For the romantic amongst you we have Adora, a 16mm silver ball with a fretwork design which allows the brass ball to shine through creating a golden heart in the centre of the pendant. Once again, it can be opened and the ball removed or replaced with a crystal or precious stone. Perfect as a Valentines gift or romantic birthday or Christmas present. It also looks fantastic as a charm on a chunky charm bracelet.

For those who want something bigger and bolder we have the stunning Acantha, an ornate design shaped like an old fashioned flask of perfume bottle. The cage opens horizontally (rather than vertically like the other pieces) and its lovely botanical design is perfect highlighted by the chiming brass ball inside. At 22 x 30mm this is much bigger than the other designs, and packs a real punch. (It’s also great for keep a secret Malteser just in case you get peckish...).

Last, but by no means least we have the Amira. This striking design, inspired by the Moorish carvings of the Alhambra in Granada has a polished brass ball suspended in a diamond shaped fretwork pillow.

All of the silverwork on our pendants is sterling silver and has been tested and approved by the UK assay office. To give you the best possible value for money, they are sold without chains. They all have large loops so you can mix and match with your own chains and ribbons, or if you prefer, we also offer the option of adding a necklace from our range.

Personally, I still can't decide which one I like best so I'm keeping one of each!

For years our customers have asked us if we engrave our jewellery and we have had to say no. We design and the source the entire range personally, but we are not jewellers ourselves and none of us have the skills, tools or steady enough hands to start carving chunks out of our silver bangles and rings.

However, this Xmas we were contacted by one of our loyal (and it turns out extremely romantic) customers and asked for a very special engraving. Normally we suggest that people get a good local jeweller to do the engraving and this has worked just fine, but unfortunately this time thanks to some geographical issues (he wasn't going to be back in the UK before Xmas) he just couldn't do that. Now we couldn't let him down, and we do like a challenge, so off we want in search of an experienced engraver who could help us make his dream come true.

After some googling, some calls to happy customers and a long conversation with the man himself, we found John Dearden, a master engraver with more than 30 year experience and a very impressive portfolio. He agreed to take on the job, and 2 weeks later we were able to send our customer his super romantic engraved silver bangle.

Having found John and seen the calibre of his work, we have decide to team up and offer all our customers this bespoke service, so now anyone who wants their own unique message added to a piece of our jewellery can do so.

Here's how it works:

Engraving an item with up to 30 characters in English script (see below) is £35.

Each character above the 30 is 50p extra.

The lead time for engraving from order to delivery is 2 weeks.

Simply order the item you want as normal and choose "Add engraving" Then add a comment in the comments box at checkout telling us what message you want.

We will call you within 24 hours to agree the exact details of the engraving and take any additional payment for messages over 30 characters.

Please bear in mind that once we engrave a piece especially for you we can no longer accept a return for any reason other than a fault with the jewellery or engraving.

”Engraving

Engraving works particulaly well on our solid silver bangles and our lovely silver soulmate rings as well as the unusual Thebe dogtags necklace and charm bracelet, but if you have an idea for engraving, get in touch and we'll see if we can make it work for you, after all, romanticism should ALWAYS be rewarded.
