Calling all fans of Corazon Latino...

So many people tell us they love our handmade jewellery that we thought it would be nice to create a scrapbook of photos of people wearing their favourite Corazon Latino jewellery to share with other fans.

Whether ou're looking lovely in a necklace and beautiful in a bracelet we want to know about it.

So if you are willing to share a photo of yourself wearing our jewellery (keep them decent please!), then drop us a line with your details, why you love your Corazon jewellery and a photo and we'll post the top 5 photos in a special blog in the run up to Xmas.

Successful photos will also win £50 to spend on anything you like from our new jewellery range.
You may have noticed that this season's fashion is all about monochromes. Shades of black, white and grey. Long line charcoal grey sweaters and black leggings are the order of the day for this Autumn.

I don't know about you, but they all seem a bit dull to me; in need of a bit of a lift. What better way to give your Autumn wardrobe a lift than with a shimmering silver necklace?

At Corazon Latino, we have a range of 38 different handmade silver necklaces varying in price from £45 to £375.

From delicate silver hearts on black cords to solid silver chokers, no matter what you style, we have something that'll work for you.

If you don't know where to start, here are my top 5 picks for Autummn/Winter 2010.

1) Sylvia liquid silver necklace

A gorgeous 20 strand necklace of shimmering fine silver beads, guaranteed to add a bright spark to any outfit.

2) Hebe silver rings necklace

A sparkling handmade chain covered with dainty textured silver rings. We have a matching braceet if you want to increase your bling quota.

3) Pan, silver twist necklace

A lovely contemporary design. A 7.5cm long pendant with a twist at the top, hung on 5 adjustable black cords.

4) Lares brushed silver necklace

Three strands of fine silver beads decorated wih brushed silver rectangles; lovely against bareskin in a v-neck sweater.

5) Amors silver filagree heart necklace

A delicate silver filagree heart on a black suede lace, perfect to sit over a pale grey polo neck.

So, don't let this season's greys get you down, just add a silver necklace and sparkle your way through Autumn.
I am always on the look out for unusual handmade jewellery or new and interesting ways to wear it. I recently came across Wastenot; the creation of Danish born sculptor Lone Sigurdsson.

Lone creates gorgeous one of a kind handmade neckpieces that are half way between clothing and a necklace (Lone calls them wearable art). Each piece is a one off, handmade using reclaimed fabrics and off cuts. They are designed to be worn with a simple t-shirt, sweater or shiftdress; anything with a plain neckine would work. Prices start at £140

My personal favourites in the current collection are the fabulous autumnal leaves in chocolate brown felt (£160) and the brilliant red cotton ruffle (£200).

To see the entire collection visit Wasteknot or pop into one of her London stockists:

Shop and Gallery, 108 Fortune Green, West Hampstead
or
From Somewhere, 341 Portobello Road W10

Lone also takes commissions and will happily create a bespoke neckpiece using your own fabric, so why not recycle a beloved dress and create something completely unique?
