My personal favourite is the slimline, Dana, a contemporary almost fluid design, with the look of molten silver; you could create a stunning look by stacking up 3 or 4 of these.

While we have a rather lovely silver pendant based on leaf, we came across this amazing Australian company who has gone one better, creating jewellery from the leaves themselves.

Bush Art Australia was founded in 1987 by ex journalists Patrick and Amelia Carfax who decided to combine their love of nature and passion for innovation and make the life changing move of setting up their own business, preserving the indigenous leafs and seeds of the Austalian bush in 22 carat gold and pure silver.

Each leaf is picked and subjected to a delicate 12 hour process which first skeletonises it, then electroplates it before finally coating it in gold or silver. Their beautiful range includes a wide selection of different leaves, and nuts. My personal favourites are these lovely dangly pendants and earrings and the beautiful silver Eucalyptus leaf with the dainty opal "raindrop".

She is one of the fittest people we know. We originally found her in a gym and 7 years on she's still training hard. She's a qualified personal trainer and Under 12's Football coach. This year alone she has done the Jerusalem marathon, the London nightrider 100k cycle, the London to Brighton Cycle, the Boxhill cycle challenge 100k (yep that includes the dreaded Boxhill of the Olympic road race) & the London to Paris cycle. Next on her list are the Windsor half marathon and the Rome marathon.

Not only is she hardworking, super fit and incredibly lovely, she is also a great model, and a very smart woman - she is now doing a IDM Diploma in Direct and Digital Marketing so we're hoping she'll be giving us some free advice as well as more great poses over the coming years.

Born in 1985 on the island of Panay in the Western Visayas, a group of islands in the Philippines, Rony now lives and works on the beautiful island of Boracay as a dive master, showing those lucky enough to find themselves there, the incredible marine biology of the coral reefs and wrecks around the island. He also races dragonboats.

Finding him really was a lucky coincidence. I was in Thailand last Autumn working with our artisans on our new ranges and I decided to combine business with pleasure and go and visit an old friend who had moved from Australia to  work in the Philippines. Because of the terrible flooding in Bangkok I found myself "stranded" with a few spare days on my own. My friend suggested a few days on the beach and told me that White Beach on Boracay was one of the best beaches in the world. Now you don't get a chance to lie on one of the best beaches in the world very often, so, alone or not, I jumped at the chance, packed my kindle, bikini and some factor 20 and off I went. I ended up staying at Friday's a lovely hotel with a laid back vibe and probably the best location on the island. By chance, Rony was taking some Friday's guests diving. I saw him and just knew he'd be the perfect model for the new men's range. I asked him, he very bravely said yes, and the rest is history...

The new men's range is very relaxed. Although we do have a couple of classic chains for the traditionalists, most of the range is designed to look fabulous on sporty guys and to work just as well under a suit as on the beach. With Rony already on Boracay, it was the perfect opportunity to shoot the range on White Beach, so we found a great local photographer and back I went in May to turn our samples into a range.

The team at Fridays were kind enough to let us use the hotel, and the weather was kind, giving us sunshine, wonderful light and shadows, gentle waves and a fabulous sunset. We couldn't have asked for a better 2 days. We will be sharing some of the behind the scenes footage at a later date so look out for that in the coming weeks...
